TA 1: Methodologies – Choices and Challenges

The first thematic area analyses the methodological points of contact and exclusions of different resilience concepts that can be identified. This particularly concerns the question of the expectedly very different determinations of the relationships among the different scientific levels of methods, narratives, and theories. The focus of this thematic area is therefore on a systematic comparison of typical methodological choices constitutive for the disciplines involved and their implications and challenges for the significance of what is understood and negotiated as resilience in each of these cases.
